JUST POST IT!!

Sometimes, words just come so freely that I just have to write them all down or else forget all about it later..
No electricity and mum free hours of the day, I thought of making this poem for someone who is very close to me, may she find that special  "one"  who will be worthy of her love, and one who has the heart to give back..


Mister Dee and the stray cats

Once there was a man, his name is Mr. Dee.
He's lived a lonely life, waiting for a Mrs. Dee.

On a sweet sunny day, he saw a kitten in his yard.
It  keeps on staring at him, and so he is charmed.

He named the cat Lyra, and he took her in.
Mr. Dee fed her, he felt happy, at least that's how it seemed

Mr. Dee loved Lyra, as though she were family.
but as time went by, Lyra became unhappy.

and so one day, when Mr. Dee went home,
Lyra was nowhere to be found, and again, he felt so alone.

Summer is gone, fall is here.
Mr. Dee still thinks of Lyra, where are you dear?

Then on that silence of the night, he heard a sound,
something like a soft purr, he ran and search around.

Lyra could that be you? as he hopes when he opens the door,
but it is not Lyra, but another cat on the floor.

She seem helpless, and with a generous heart like Mr. Dee's
He took her in and he named her Achi.

Mr. Dee gave her the same care as he has given Lyra,
He was beginning to love Achi, but still thinks of Lyra.

Every night Mr. Dee notices, Achi would disappear,
and so he followed Achi and found her with a cute little kitten as Achi lick her ear.

It turned out that Achi has a family, but Mr. Dee can't take them all in,
It was a painful decision, as he walks away..
but as much as he would want to, he couldn't make them all stay.

Time flies and Mr. Dee vowed never to love and care for another cat again,
but that was until his brother got him a present and as he counts from one to ten..
and as he opened it, oh no! not another cat!
but this one is different and you can bet on that.

Mr. Dee tried so hard to resist it,
but he cannot deny the fact the he wants it,
because this little tramp just seemed so purrfect!

All this time Mr. Dee went swearing, he takes it all back!
because with little Ms. Purrfy it feels like all of his luck came back.

He treated little Ms. Purrfy like his own set of trophy,
everywhere he goes he takes her, she makes him proud and life was never this lovely.

In return Mr. Dee gave little Ms. Purrfy all the love he could ever give,
he thinks it's the best and only way that she would never leave.

But just like the rest, something went wrong.
Little Ms. Purrfy has been bored all along.
and just when everything seemed perfect,
she leaves him...
and Mr. Dee is once again, shattered, and shaken.

How could these stray cats break my heart, he asks himself
he swears again, vows never again!
will another cat stay and break his heart!

Mr. Dee was screaming at the top of his lungs with anger,
He felt so dumb and stupid, giving his all to strangers.

He fell on his knees about to break down,
When he felt something lick him, he came around.

He saw a cute little puppy, wagging it's tail
Oh no, never again! as he shoos her away,
I won't risk with you, been through a lot,
And I definitely had enough!

But the cute little puppy instead jumped on his lap, as she seem to say...
Im a dog! not a cat...
